Spring/Summer 2018 is shaping up to be a celebration of femininity, festive fun and glamour. Here are five key trends we can’t wait to wear:
Pretty as a Picture Pastels & Flirty Florals
Delicious sherbetty pastels are back – pink, apricot, lemon, mint green and luscious lavender. Plain or elegantly incorporated into the perennial favourite – the floral - worn in its feminine, floaty glory it’s a palette that will work for most complexions. My tip: lavender will be BIG.

24 Hour Sequins
Let your sequins see the light of day! No longer to be relegated to ‘after five’, sequins for daywear is ‘a thing’ this season. Team sequins with denim and casual sneakers to dress down or under a tailored jacket for a dressier feel. Dip your toe in the water with sequined accessories if you’re unsure about making a grand sparkling statement. Go on, just do it!

Waist-ful
Continuing the feminine story, waistlines defined by cinching, high-waisted pants, shorts and skirts work wonders for creating the illusion of longer looking pins. Wide leg or tapered leg are merely a personal preference – go with what works for your body shape.

Primary Colour Blocking
This one takes us back to Kylie Minogue in the “Put Your Hand On Your Heart” film clip. Primary colours of cobalt blue, radiant red and vibrant banana yellow are popping up in stores. Colour blocking and wearing pieces in these shades together will be bang on trend and perfect for the party season.
