about louise
fashion & personal stylist, actor, presenter & mc

After my first professional dance performance in my late single digit years, I knew I only ever wanted to live my life flexing my creative muscle!

Beyond completing a degree in Drama and Dance at the Queensland University of Technology, I count my blessings to have worked as an actor, television and radio presenter, MC, voice over artist, fashion stylist and writer throughout my working life.

In my early 20's, I loved the buzz of being on stage in various modelling contests around south-east Queensland, including the Bartercard Miss Indy Sports Model Search. I was subsequently invited to represent Australia in the 2001 Miss Tourism International World Final, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - a once in a lifetime experience I'll never forget.

After hanging up the bikinis and sequined gowns, I picked up a mic as an event MC for model searches, fashion events, trade shows and gala, corporate and charity events. I'm right at home on the mic... #lovemyjob

During this time, I was offered the chance to add the string of fashion & personal stylist to my bow - on the job, while working for a Brisbane-based model agency - and it was love at first style. This lead to presenting style workshops Australia-wide for retail clients including Westfield, Centro, AMP Capital, Stockland, Dexus & Retail First. I have since worked as a personal stylist with individual clientele and as special events and campaign fashion stylist for a number of celebrities, local and international, for events, photo shoots and media calls.

In 2013, inspired by a trip to the US, where I witnessed live breakfast TV production, I was curious about the art of producing. To that end, I read, researched and attended the University de YouTube to plan and produce Social Seen, a lifestyle and events program covering the south-east Queensland social scene, which o was also presenter for. Conducting interviews with Boom Crash Opera's Dale Ryder, Taxiride's Jason Singh and Jon Stevens was pure joy. I had found a new passion - interviewing.

After regularly 'pestering' management at radio station 1029 Hot Tomato, I landed a role as Promotions Co-ordinator, adding street team live crosses and casual radio announcer for outside broadcasts to my role. I completely indulged in my passion for presenting and interviewing - Rachael Finch, Melanie Vellajo, Candice Dixon & PJ Madam, horse racing identities Matt Cumani & Chris Munce, Dawn Fraser and international motor racing driver Sebastien Bourdais and iconic Australian business woman, Katie Page-Harvey are some of the names I'll drop.

These days I continue to thrive in my work as a freelance fashion and personal stylist, actor, presenter and event MC.

Feel free to drop me a line HERE today to reach out. I look forward to hearing how I can help with your campaign, production and/or styling projects and aspirations.
